Set in one of the UK’s most popular seaside spots, with Croyde Bay on your doorstep and the stunning Saunton Sands just a short drive away, you shouldn’t need to venture far from your lodge to find everything you need for the most dreamy holiday experience. Whether stretching out on the sand with a good book, watching the surfers and swimmers, walking the scenic nature trails around the park, or venturing further afield to experience the many attractions on offer… you’ll find it all at Ruda!

Lundy Island and the pretty Ilfracombe are definitely worth a visit, as are some of the beautiful gardens and historic houses in the area. For the adventurer there’s obviously the undeniable surfing opportunities (Ruda even has it’s own surf school), and for family fun days there’s The Big Sheep farm, Ilfracombe Aquarium and Exmoor Zoo, to name but a few.

So whether you want to venture near or far from your lodge on your visits here (There will surely be days you can’t tear yourself away from your beautiful lodge)… You’re certainly not short of things to do.
